Mr. Twiggs is a board-certified senior security manager and qualified engineer with over 25 years of hands-on experience, both with the FAA and in private industry. He has simultaneous Science and Arts Degrees in Business Management from the University of Alaska and extensive attendance at a wide range of technical and security training programs under the U.S. Department of Defense and the FAA. Most recently he was the project manager for ASI for security design review at the New Bangkok International Airport and for the Airport Security Improvement Project at Cairo International Airport. He was the Principal Security Consultant for the new Kuala Lumpur International Airport construction project where he developed the Airport Security Program and all security operational procedures.

In 2002 he was the security director for a major international organization supporting the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, responsible for three locations and over 1,100 staff and in 2001 performed security review and monitoring for disaster relief sites established in New York following the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. While with FAA he performed numerous aviation security assessments visits to airports in central and eastern Russia and was a delegate to seven U.S.-Russian assemblies to establish ICAO aviation security procedures at Russian airports. He was also a member of the U.S. delegation to Russia that successfully opened Russian restricted airports and air space to commercial international air traffic.

• National and International Security Certification Instructor for Board Certified Security Manager Rating.
