ASI receives requests worldwide for assistance on a host of aviation and security subjects, including operational requirements, ATC contingency planning, airport planning, system design, incident response, crisis management, and security systems concerns.
The broad range of ASI's services to the aviation community is illustrated by its recent Airspace Planning Project for Jordan, ATC emergency preparedness program for Egypt, developing system requirements for new international airports in Thailand, Malaysia, and Korea as well as communications planning for U.S. airports.
Non-aviation related security projects include for multi-mode transportation transfer facility security. ASI performed security planning for major container ports at Colombo, Sri Lanka and Chittagong. The objective of these projects was to meet IMO and CSI requirements efficiently so as to improve their economic competitiveness. ASI was selected to assess and provide security enhancements and training at the United Nations New York Headquarters and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal facilities at The Hague, Netherlands.
ASI has extensive experience in the United States, Caribbean, Middle East, and the Far East over the past decade and a half in assisting development of National policy and Aviation procedural documents, aviation systems requirements analyses, and design of aviation systems for government and commercial clients. This includes International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practice (SARP) compliance, International Maritime Organization (IMO), US Transportation initiatives such as the Container Security Initiative (CSI), other nation's regulatory compliance assessment, requirements analysis, engineering design, and oversight of the construction and implementation of sophisticated aviation systems.
