General Background
- Security Systems Design
Designed layout of airport access control, perimeter security,
passenger and baggage inspection stations, and CCTV systems. Modified
architectural drawings to reflect placement and design of security
system elements, researched equipment features and prepared bid
specifications and requirements. Prepared illustrations for technical
projects, documented security assessment and threat analysis studies.
Developed visual portrayals for presentation of the comparative merits
and deficiencies of alternative protection strategies.
- Network Administrator/PC Technician/Graphic Artist
Set up and maintained Windows Server 2003 network that serves PC and
Linux users including cable routing, cable fabrication/termination and
hub setup. Assembled and configured Windows 2000, XP and Vista
workstations, Laptop and desktop configuration including installation
of any and all peripherals and various backup devices. Configured
print/file server, MS SharePoint, MS Exchange Server on Window 2003
server. Currently pursuing A+ Certification. Configuration and
maintenance of SonicWALL firewall device. Setup and configured Wireless
Office and many home networks with security. Responsible for regular backup
and data synchronization (Acronis and Allway Sync). Maintain current hard disk
image file for all users.

Experience
- Security Engineer at Aerospace Services
International, Inc. Prepared design documentation for security
enhancements at Richmond International Airport needed to accommodate
Airport facility expansions and modernize security system elements.
- Documented survey results and assessment of
security improvement options for ASI's study and subsequent design of
Charlotte Douglas International Airport, North Carolina.
- International Security Design Experience. Extensive
experience designing security systems for aviation facilities in
Korea, Malaysia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia,. Examples of these experiences
include: the layout of passenger security screening equipment in the
Middle East, Security demarcation and ACAM design at the Inchon
International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
- Aviation Security Consultancy Experience. Worked
with the designers and architects of the Curacao International Airport
to insure that the new terminal design met ICAO security requirements
while insuring operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Senior Security Design Experience. Evaluated and
updated security system for Reina Beatrix International Airport,
Aruba, Terminal Expansion Project to insure ICAO standards as well as
FAA Foreign Airport Assessment Program security requirements were
satisfied.
- Technical Illustrator at NEC America, responsible
for training manual production, utilizing desktop publishing and CAD
software. Interfaced with instructors and technical writers, assisted
customers with training scheduling and course selection. Produced
presentations for Customer Service Department Manager. Assisted with
